Before Adobe took over the Macromedia software in 2005 it was possible to buy the software ooutright - not having to pay a very high monthly price to have access to it.
It was brilliant! In those days I was able to use the software to develop creative ICT projects.

I originally used Flash to make the cards I was able to animate and have sound in them- but Adobe put paid to Flash in 2020.... so I adapted the design and they became webpage greetings instead of stand alone swf cards....
Back in the day there were several sites that produced lovely e-cards - garfield.com, foreverfriends.co.uk to name but two - but they became defunct due to takeovers and the ever more capitalist thrust on the WWW.... sad really....
