Casual GamersA casual gamer is a player whose time or interest in playing games is limited. You could say they have 'got a ife'... but not a cyber one! Casual gamers tend to play games designed for ease of gameplay and don't spend much time playing more involved games. They prefer ones that are easy to complete - or are just simple repetative ones that you can play for a short time interval and not need to 'save' (other than a high score). Girls and 'older people' (over 40s) are predominant in this category. They may not own a games console and just play on a friend or relative's console. Dedicated gamers often have 'casual games' in their collection for familiy gatherings. |
