Chess Chess is a great game for improving concentration and inter-personal skills. It helps children plan ahead and see and appreciate patterns of pieces on the chess board. There is a free chess site that is specifically designed to help primary school teachers set up a chess club within their school.It has been sponsored by Wooverhampton Chess Club to promote ches within local schools, but has been designed so that anyone can make use of it.
