There is a lovely Disney 'short' called the Small One that links in nicely to Christmas.
It tells the tale of the donkey that carried Mary to Bethlehem. Educationally it shows Palestine at the time of Jesus birth - but beyond that it is funny, touching, has nice music and would make a nice plenary during Advent.
Unfortunately it is not released as a region 2 DVD yet. I had it on video years ago when my children were small ones!
You can however, using the power of the internet use it in class. The pdf below gives timings and links for you to try it out.
